A few weeks ago, we went shopping for the brand new Tyson Breakfast Bowls at our local Sam’s, but they were out of stock. Luckily, Tyson sent some directly to us, and we were able to enjoy these delicious handheld meals without having to search for them.
You can see our original Google + album here showing our shopping, but I wanted to show off my son’s grossed out face again when he saw the fish in the freezer.

When I opened the package of Breakfast Bowls, I was pleasantly surprised to see that we could make numerous meals out of these. Twelve bowls total in the box, all filled with bacon, egg and cheese goodness. Wait…bacon? YES! BACON!
Are you drooling yet? Don’t worry, you will be.
With a simple hit of a button on the microwave, in a little under two minutes I had some tasty, hot, buttery and flaky Breakfast Bowls ready to go for the kids.
They even SMELLED delicious – the kids thought at first that they were having pizza for breakfast, so they were pretty excited to have something different for a change of pace.
Ugh, those stinkers. They gobbled up their strawberries before I could snap a picture – I made a cute smiley face on each plate. Art is never appreciated, is it?
Maddy dug into her Breakfast Bowl first and said it tasted like I had baked it myself. She’s a lot pickier about food than Zachary is, but the fact that she said it reminded her of fresh baked goods really made me happy.
Zachary was excited thinking he was eating pizza for breakfast, but I kept reminding him it was a Breakfast Bowl. After his first bite, he excitedly proclaimed, “MMMM….DELICIOUS!”
But because we’re a family on the go, we don’t always have time to sit down at the breakfast table and eat. Recently, we had to move Zachary to a new daycare, but we left Madison enrolled at the old once since she is still going to her old elementary school. It’s a logistics nightmare in the morning to get two kids to two different schools, and get myself to work on time, so it’s a life saver to have these portable Breakfast Bowls available. For a quick and easy breakfast, they certainly are filling!
I just warmed up two bowls for the kids, popped them into Ziploc baggies, loaded them up – and off to school we went. And there is virtually no mess from the bowls – the egg, cheese, and bacon stays inside of the bowl and doesn’t spill out all over carseats or backseats.
All in all, these bowls received thumbs up from the kids, and they’re going to remain a regular breakfast staple for them!

Your pictures are hilarious! Loved seeing the fishy face again. And yes; all of the effort I put into presentation is totally unappreciated. I even made an Angry Birds lunch and my son asked me not to make “faces on my food” anymore.
What is BigBinderll?? Oops!!
LOL that took me a moment to realize what you meant! Big Binder II, Electric Boogaloo!
Arrrrrrggggh! So jealous of the bacon! I can’t find bacon bowls. The sausage is super yummy, but I’m forever jealous of anyone who can find bacon!
Hi There, I’ve never commented before, but I was hoping you could post some weight loss updates soon! I know you are maintaining (congrats!) but I loved seeing your hubby’s progress as well. And while I enjoy reading your reviews, many of the items (like processed bread bowl breakfasts) aren’t the healthiest. I enjoy coming to your blog for healthy inspiration!
