I have received a few emails and comments asking where I’ve been….
And the honest truth is, between work and training, it’s hard keeping up with the blog! Long work hours and then long runs (trying to get ready for January) have kept me pretty tied up.
The kids ran their first Run Disney race this weekend, and I could not have been more proud. I may have shed a tear or two when I took a picture of them with their medals.
You gotta stretch before a race!

So, so proud of these two
Later that night, it was my turn. I ran the Tower of Terror 10 Miler – and I have to tell you, I was SUPER excited and really looking forward to this race. Unfortunately, it ended up being the most disappointing Disney race to date in terms of entertainment, theme and my overall time due to the walkers that crowded the roads.
But the medal was still amazingly awesome, so that made up for it.
Oh, Yum Yum <3
I also sweat about 50 gallons of sweat within the first mile – it was SO incredibly humid on Saturday night. I saw so many people getting sick all along the race route – I don’t remember Wine and Dine being as humid and gross at this time last year!
I promise to try and post a little more. People are asking for updates on various things, and I have lots to talk about. My next race is my 2nd Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon on November 9th, and that is just around the corner – Goofy isn’t too far off. EEEEEK!!
